At this special time of year when your birthday comes along
Presents are plentiful and we all sing your birthday song
It's the time of year we all share in your celebration
A time of year we can see in your face all the jubilation
Knowing for sure that you are oh so special and feel love
Brought for you by us and the angels above
So at last you have everything you deserve
And celebrate with all your vim, vigor and most of all verve
We'll all thank the people that were responsible for your creation
Telling them they've made someone who'll live the duration
Of their life being hailed as the one to bring joy to one and all
To give love and happiness in answering a higher call
This you have done asking naught for yourself in return
So for your grace the whole world must yearn
'Til you are ready to give us all some more
Whilst we try to keep you at the fore
Because this is the day of the celebration you share
And we in return will show you we care
